The 2026 Audi A6 Redesign: Gas Sedan and Electric Sportback for U.S. Buyers
2026 Audi A6 Redesign: Audi has fully redesigned its midsize luxury A6 for 2026, splitting the lineup into a traditional gas-powered sedan and an all-electric A6 e-tron Sportback (a sleek liftback hatch).
This dual approach keeps the A6 competitive against the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Genesis G80, while offering EV options to rival the BMW i5 and Mercedes EQE.
The gas A6 features sharper, aerodynamic styling with a drag coefficient of 0.23—the lowest for any combustion Audi.
